From the scenic view of the Ohio River to the thrill of Derby season at Churchill Downs, Middletown is just a short drive to the big city. The metropolitan area of Louisville is comprised of seven counties: Jefferson, Oldham and Bullitt counties in Kentucky, and Clark, Floyd, Harrison and Scott counties in Indiana; all of whose population totals approximately one million.
Many businesses are attracted to Middletown because of the low tax rate and the fact that businesses do not pay a Middletown Business License or occupational tax. With a well-trained work force and more opportunity close at hand in the large metropolitan area, owners should definitely take a second look at our community when considering relocation.
