Clifton is located east of downtown between I-64, N Ewing Ave and Brownsboro Rd and gets its name from its beautiful hilly landscape. The neighborhood was developed over roughly 60 years which lead to unique homes ranging in sizes and style. Throughout you’ll find bungalows, shotguns, Victorian mansions, and many more styles. A majority of the homes were built from 1870 to 1930.
In the 1990s restaurants and shops started popping up along Frankfort Ave. Now you’ll find various types of restaurants, galleries, shops and bars along Frankfort Ave. The Kentucky School for the Blind and American Printing House for the Blind are also located in Clifton. Recent commercial development and increased remodeling have created a high demand for homes in the area.
Clifton offers the modern convenience with beautiful historic homes welcoming all current and new residence!
